Rothschild Boulevard and the White City

The White City is a nickname for some of the old areas of Tel Aviv, home to more than 4,000 buildings designed in the international style of architecture.

Many of the buildings on Rothschild Boulevard, are considered the most important and central in the city and are known as the cultural and business center of Tel Aviv.

In 2003 UNESCO declared the White City a World Heritage Site.

Habima Theatre

Habima is the national theater of Israel. The theater was founded in 1917 and recently underwent a major renovation at a total cost of NIS 100 million.

The theater is one of the Israeli culture pillars and the home of the greatest players of their generations. A rich repertoire of stage plays is presented every day on the stage of the theater.

Tel Aviv Museum of Art

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art is one of the most important museums in Israel. The museum presents collections of Israeli art, modern art, contemporary art, photography, design and architecture.

The new wing of the museum is housed in a magnificent building designed by the architect Preston Scott Cohen and is a work of art in its own right.
